Atheists..what will you do with your life.....?

Being an atheist or agnostic is one thing . It has a place in Gods heart where He in patience waits and gives you gentle signs that He is there. Love in your heart and inklings that He is real are kind of the rule of the day with maybe even a dramatic sign that blows your mind.

But then there is that invisible line that I have seen many cross. They move out of that " safe zone " and start to do the mocking and raging against Him and especially His Word. He forgives but its like the baby that goes and plays in traffic. Someone is going to get run over...not by God but by darkness and the prince that lives in it. ( God/Jesus seeks to save you from it. ).

I have seen it on people countless times. It comes as depression or oppression. It often reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera. That stalking depression...that voice in your head that pretends to be " just you ". It stalks you. Jesus says, " call on me and ill save you ".

This is probably the third time that I've posted this quote, but it's also the third time that I've thought this quote was appropriate:

"Personally, it's not God I dislike; it's his fan club that I can't stand."

The angry, depressed atheist is a stereotype, the result of wishful thinking by Christians who are comforted by the belief that their way is the only one that leads to happiness. Many atheists look upon you Jesus-believers as lost, too. Lost in a comforting dream world, keeping your eyes tightly closed against reality. You see non-believers as a danger to that fantasy.
From our point of view, there is no mocking his word, because there is no such thing as his word, because there is no such thing as him. See how things can be seen in an entirely different way?
Riiiiiiight. You go ahead and keep on believing that.
I have found that many athiests mock and rage against God, not because of God, but because they are told in a near-endless stream by "His Children" that, as an athiest, they are tools of Satan and they have thrown their immortal soul away and that they will roast for all eternity in the fiery pools of hell until the very end of time itself.

Gets real boring to hear that.
Do you have a question?

One thing I don't do is believe 15 impossible things before breakfast and waste my time on prayer.
prove to me that the bible is gods word and not mans. for mocking the bible is mocking mans interpretatin of god, not mocking god himself.
I understand and believe your analogy. But, I think you need to give atheist more credit and respect for their choice. They have heard the gospel many times. You should live this way (being a light to the world) in the real world. Use this forum to understand other views. Ignore the insulting and meaningless questions. Soon, atheists will talk with you as a person using logic, and not just ride your decline and flagging down your questions. Good Luck
Oh, look dear. More preaching.

Do you really think that by saying a lot of pseudo-mystical nonsense you'll somehow magically cause me to change not merely my mind but my entire preception of the universe? You keep living in your fantasy land.

Atheism: A personal relationship with reality.
wow, your questions are usually longer and riddled with what is possibly drug induced mania, therapy working?
You do realize how cult-like you sound, don't you.
You religious people are gonna kill everyone with your holy wars.

Wait sorry, not you, your religion is true. The only true religion. Your god is magnificent, and shadows all other gods. In fact every other person "created", if they don't follow "him" will burn in hell. Is that right? I've got beer and sunscreen, who's bringing the burgers?
I agree with the comment about Christians thinking it's their way or the highway.

Athiest or not, all roads lead to God. God is all loving, all forgiving and will not expect the ENTIRE WORLD to follow one way of thinking. God knows we are all different, with different ways of thinking. Different ways of believing.

Even if you don't believe in God, that's your choice, a choice YOU make for YOURSELF - Who am I or anyone else to judge?

Believe what you like, leave the rest alone.

My question for you is: if your religion is SO GREAT - why do you feel the need to cram it down peoples throats? Why can't you trust in GOD and let people find him on their own.
No, he never gave me any signs that he was there when I searched for him years ago. I don't hear anything inside that says I should start believeing any of this crap. Sorry, but that's what it is to us, just fairytale crap.
As Jesus proportedly said, "do not judge so that you will not be judged" and "treat people the same way you want them to treat you".

Great advice.

Clearly your "question" passes judgement on athiests. You compare them to rageful, mocking, depressed children.

In your "question", you also assume that you are right and others who don't share your belief are wrong. This strikes me as extremely condescending, and I imagine that you would not want to be treated this way.

I know that you can't help it. You believe you are in possession of the truth and feel pity for those who don't share your beliefs. You probably wrote this question with the goal of helping us poor sinners. Nevertheless, don't be surprised if the reaction you get from athiests to your message isn't that welcoming.

How would you react if I told you that as a believer you are delusional? Insulted? Now let's imagine that I were to tell you that because you believe in God, you will suffer for all eternity. How would you feel then about me and my message?

Fortunately, athiests don't believe in that nonsense, and mostly don't care who or what others worship as long as it doesn't impact them.
