Does anyone know good horror films with a sense of romance...?

... such as Mary Reily, Dracula or some of the old versions of the Phantom of the Opera?

Which other films like the above ones do you think I should watch?

Does anyone know good horror films with a sense of romance...?ms stress

...a classic gothic horror romance, and one of my top-10 favorite films, is the chilling 1964 film, "Castle of Blood"; it's one of those almost hypnotic gothic romances, whereby you can quite easily so caught up in the irresistable and compelling story, that deep down, you find yourself wanting ever so much to reside in the eerie and supernatural world, represented in the film. The plot: an arrogant young writer, during the turn of the century, accepts a bet, in which he had to survive the night, in an old, delapitated and broken down castle, belonging to a rich and brazen nobleman. The writer, upon settling in at the cold and eerie castle, finds that he not alone, as he encounters an irresistably beautiful young woman, who quickly attempts to warn him away from the castle, and to take her with him; falling instantly in love with the girl, but not wanting to lose the bet, the writer pays little heed to her warning, as he continues to encounter other random people in the castle.....people who, for whatever reason, possesses some hidden and sinister agenda, and may in fact, not even be alive!!!.....

...I cannot possibly go any further than this, without giving away the very essence of the film; if it's dark %26amp; thick-as-London-fog gothic romantic horror, which you are looking for, you just can't get any better than this...

Most Highly Recommended!!!

Does anyone know good horror films with a sense of romance...?home theater system opera theater

try the village

~its not made out to be a romance, but it really is
Delicatessen, Requiem for a Dream, Memento, and Seven
New one--Sweeney Todd, with Johnny Depp. Really bloody, but it does have 3 "love connections" involved.
i dunno I found that alot of the older and recent horror movies have the romance aspect to them, i guess not on a grand scale like the phantom of the opera

but more of just the boy and the girl are the last ones standing and they walk away together safe blah blah

like in house on haunted hill or dawn of the dead

i saw 30 days of night the other day and it had a love story mixed in as well

i dont think you'll have a problem finding some
Planet Terror (Grindhouse)
i don't know the title but tom cruise, brad pit, antonio banderas are the characters
