Yes. I have to wear a happy mask in front of people, so they think I'm ok, and they think I'm good. But when I'm alone, I take my mask off, and look in the mirror. I ask myself: "Ali, who are you kidding? You aren't happy, and you know that. Hah, geez! What makes people get fooled so easily? You aren't even fooling yourself! Yet others actually believe your happy! HAHAHAHA!!!!"

Beneath my happy mask, lies a scratched, and scared kid, whose life has been torn in half...

I wear the "I'm cool" mask when I'm actually shy and quiet. I also wear the Phantom of the Opera mask too.
Whenever I feel vulnerable I act cynical ( or ironical) ... It's a curse , I'm afraid...

NOPE! What you see is what you get! First impressions are everything... Second impressions make you or break you! How sad to like someone only to find out that they aren't who they first portrayed theirself to be. Yes, we all have experiences that have created walls. But do not hide behind the mask of someone you are not. Like attracts Like! If you are sad, unhappy, %26amp; wounded you will attract the same type of people... If you are Happy %26amp; truly care about yourself %26amp; others - then you will attract like minded people... So, if you chose to wear a mask - remember... not everyone around you will be wearing one too. And you might miss out on a very special friend who really wants to get to know you.

Yep everytime someone is around I have to put on a face to mask my depresion and I'm so good at it that no one will ever know.
